I've spent the last week watching Doctor Who, Dexter and Torchwood, so right now I think I'm a serial killer traveling through time solving my own crimes. Hey I'm sure there is a TV show in there.

And after all this time you are still wondering how I got out of it, how I can tell you this story, how I survived.

The same way I always survive.

I gave them what they wanted.

I gave them MacGuffin.

I'm sitting on my bed typing this in on a Friday night.
But I'm still not home.

I met an art student tonight, nothing unusual in that, well, apart from this is the first art student I have met that states that they are indifferent to all types of media (not unusual) and that they believed that the the tv media was more reliable than that of the internet or any other form of media.

I have heard of, and talked to others about post X gen students, I have not (till today) met a person under the age of fifty this ambivalent towards the concepts of the varied levels of how we live, and to get this from someone in their early twenties, and an art student as well, is disturbing to say the least.

If this is a one off then fine, but I worry that there may be more to come, which I have to begin to ask, is this a failing of their art school or of something more.

"So what do you do?" she asked.
"Me? I go to raves and out dance kids half my age." I reply.
"And for a day job?"
"I'm a mild mannered reporter for the Daily Planet."
